Eva Cassidy passed away Friday, November 1, 1996, from cancer. On Tuesday, September 17, 1996, Eva's friends had gathered at the Bayou in Georgetown for an All Star Tribute Concert in honor of her musical contribution to our lives. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) presented Eva with an honorary Gold Record
