Shows often include many topnotch performers who contribute three songs apiece to create spectacular evenings--Presented by Rod Deacey (from England) and Ron Goad (from Front Royal).
The Monday Showcase includes a featured act in the middle playing a 45-minute set, and up to 7 others playing 3-song guest sets. There is no cover charge, but a tip basket is passed, which goes to the featured act.
Location: Take the elevator to the 2nd floor great music room, commodious green room, and world's cutest bar nook in between.

7:30 Piano Music-- Pianists please write to Ron at MisterGoad@gmail.com to be scheduled on some upcoming Mondays. A piano is provided.
8:00 ---Several three-song sets (up to 15 min) by performers who sign up with me online. Music by Rod Deacey and poetry by John Holly. Full dinner is served till 9:00; abbreviated menu afterwards.
9:00 ---An extended set featuring a spotlighted songwriter/act selected by British bluesman (and Frederick resident) Rod Deacey at roddc@xecu.net. We pass the hat for the featured performer/act.

Later we usually listen to another three-song set or two to complete the evening's entertainment.
Rod Deacey lines up featured performers to do the extended set, sets up his PA, and runs sound. Ron schedules the pianists and three-song contributors, and is there to emcee (and accompany some acts) when possible. |
