Debi has recorded nineteen albums and compilations, including four solo recordings for which she has won seven Wammies (Washington, D.C. Music Awards), six ASCAP composer awards, American Music Festival Awards, and American Library Awards. Her songs have been recorded by a growing number of artists, including Tom Paxton. She has appeared at theatres across the U.S., and on such radio and television programs as Garrison Keillor's "Prairie Home Companion" and "CBS Sunday Morning." She is a long-standing member of THE FOUR BITCHIN' BABES, and half of the sibling duo, THE SMITH SISTERS.
