Jeff Sarli
I am very sad to report that my friend, Jeff Sarli, has passed away from septic poisoning and a long battle with health and kidney problems. Jeff played upright and electric bass on Save Me From Myself and was an important part of the creative process on this album as well as a good friend and supporter. Jeff was based in Annapolis and was a part of many great bands here in the DC area but had recently moved to Nashville. Keith Richards recruited Jeff to back The Rolling Stones on their Bridges to Babylon album and he also toured regularly with John Mooney. I and so many others will greatly miss him, but I know he's smiling down on all of us.
