New Releases
- The Zimmermans have just released their new CD, Loneliest
Woman in the World.
- Robbie Schaefer's (Eddie From Ohio) 1991 CD, Someday,
has been re-released on CD with bonus tracks.
- The Huge recently released their debut CD Knee Deep in
Groove.
- emmet swimming started their new recording project at
Reflection Studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. Producing,
engineering and mixing the recording is Don Dixon (REM,
Smithereens, etc.) The album is slated for release in late summer
1996.
- Euphoria's new CD, Grin, will be released in late
April.
- The Dirges are about to release their new CD, Nifty
Villa. The CD, which consists of 10 live tracks and two studio
tracks, will be available in most retail stores.
- Kevin Johnson & the Linemen recently released an Outtakes
collection on cassette.
- Puzzle Head released their 6-song CD,Missing Pieces.
- Jerome "Bigfoot" Brailey released his new CD, Mutiny,
on the Rykodisc label
.
- Morgantown Band Hush will now be known as Once Hush.
Their debut CD, Say It Anyway, is being produced by
John Alagia and will be released in May under their new name.
The band will still use their trademark, the "Hush Angel."
- Cravin' Dogs new album Dingus will be released
at the Black Cat (tentative). CD Release Party April 27, with
the Figs & Triple Fast Action.
- Kristine Richards recently released the preview tape
to her new album, Wake Up Call. The preview tape, Snooze
Alarm, includes Smiggy Smith, Ralph Fortune, Jay Powell, John
Pierce, and Verdice Stribbling.
