Jeff Severson Productions

Record producer Jeff Severson is involved in a CD production for Brett Kimberlin. Best known for allegedly selling pot to Dan Quayle, Kimberlin now resides in the DC area. The basic 10 tracks were recorded in two days at Severson's home studio in Rockville and additional work was done at Sheffield Studios in Baltimore with Dan Leonard on guitar and Wade Matthews on bass. The CD is reported to have a real dark sound perhaps because of the 14 years Kimberlin spent in Federal prison for dope smuggling and has attracted the interest of several cutting edge labels. The project is scheduled for release in the fall and will coincide with a biographical book based on Kimberlin's life. Severson is also working with Lunar Groove and Jeanette Ballard.
